Privacy notice

How JLBS Construction handles the details you send through this website.

Who we are

JLBS Construction (JLBS (WIRRAL) LIMITED, company number 08378167) is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at jlbswirral@gmail.com or on 07443 447436.

What we collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, property postcode and the type of work you are interested in, along with your message.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind on this site, and we set no cookies other than the one required to protect the enquiry form from cross-site request forgery. That cookie is strictly necessary for the form to work, holds no personal information, and is deleted when you close your browser. Because there are no non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is emailed to us and read by the people at JLBS Construction who need to see it. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. It passes through our email provider in transit, and is held in our email account.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where work goes ahead, we keep the records for six years after the job finishes, which is the period we need them for tax, insurance and contractual purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email jlbswirral@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
