Patios, porcelain paving, composite decking and rendered garden walls - the outside space finished to the same standard as the house.
Garden work tends to get treated as the bit you do afterwards, with whatever budget is left. It usually shows. A patio that ponds water, a deck that moves underfoot or a retaining wall built without drainage will all need doing again within a few years.
We lay porcelain and natural stone on full mortar beds with proper falls and drainage, build composite decking on treated timber frames, and construct rendered planters, retaining walls and built-in seating. Bases for hot tubs and garden rooms are part of the same job, including the ducting for power and water before anything is paved over.
Most garden work needs no planning permission, but raised decking, boundary walls above a certain height and anything that alters where water drains can. We will tell you which applies before we start rather than after.
